Private lecturer Dr. Anne-Katrin Lührs, born 1977, state examination 2002, doctorate 2005, specialist in restorative dental conservation of the German Society for Dental Conservation 2011, habilitation 2014. Since November 2002 research associate at the Clinic of Dental Preservation, Periodontology and Preventive Dentistry, Hannover Medical School (Director: Prof. Dr. W. Geurtsen), since 2005 as senior physician, 2011-2012 research stay at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium, BIOMAT Leuven Research Cluster (Prof. Bart Van Meerbeek). Numerous national and international publications, technical papers and lectures at national and international congresses as well as research awards, including 1st prize session “Operative Dentistry” ConsEuro Seville (2009), Science Award of the Lower Saxony Dental Association (2012) and Walkhoff Award of the German Society for Dental Conservation (2014), IAAD Clinician Award (2017), DGZ Oral B Award (2018) and DGZ Award “From practice for practice” (2018), DGZ Oral B Award (2020). Clinical treatment focus: restorative tooth preservation, adhesive dentistry, aesthetic reconstructions, composite restorations, all-ceramic restorations (incl. CAD/CAM), restoration repair.
